What style of taichi do you practice?

our teachers are teaching the Wudang style, they are affiliated to the Five Winds school of Tai Chi Chuan
 

When and Where do you practice?

Our default schedule incl. classes 1x week on Mondays from 6.00-7.00pm @ the Hillhead gym (in strategic position between the dinning hall and bar in the central building)

 

Do you have any instructor to teach taichi?

Ian Carolan

Ian was born in 1967 and started practising Tai Chi in 1990. In 1997 he was given permission by Sifu Ian Cameron to teach Square Form, Round Form, Sabre, Push Hands and Applications. His main focus is, and always has been, to enjoy Tai Chi. Ian currently teaches Tai Chi classes also at RGU:Sport.

How much does it cost?

The annual membership fee is £10 for all classes, plus £5 insurance fee paied directly to Sport Union so the club and facilities will be insured.

The insurence fee is compulsory for entering any club, but its a one-off fee per year, so it does not matter how many clubs you join, you pay only once.
 

Do you participate in any competitions?

No, we don't take part in any competitions for the moment, tai chi is relatively non competetive art of sport, and most people are use to do the exercise only for relaxation and well-being.
But...

who says that cannot change :) 

What to wear?

No special clothing is required, simply some loose, comfortable clothes and flat shoes
